I know there are encounters and such, but when i gneerally add them it adds an object that is not-moving or anything. What do I need to do to have a vertibird take off? Next time post stuff like this on the Mod Talk thread. Now, you need to place an object called TGVertibird01 somewhere and name the reference. Now in a script somewhere, type <VertibirdREF>.playgroup forward 0 --> for landing. and .playgroup backward 0 for takeoff... I think. My preview window in GECK is shot (coz I screwed around with the shader settings) so I can't confirm that this will work. I'm pretty sure it will though.
