jihadoftomorrow
Is it possible to get my character's skin all glossy and oily like it is in Oblivion?
SariDecember
Sure it is. You have to alter the texture file for body/face that ends with _n.dds (that's called the normal map, it determines how much light the texture will reflect) there you have to change the grayscale/brightness of the alpha channel. The lighter it gets the more shiny your character's skin will be ingame. If you can't alter dds files you can also take the _n.dds file (upperbody_n.dds/femaleface_n.dds) from a texture/bodymod that has that shiny skin! PowderdToastMan
you can also try the desert succubus mod, although i think might only work on female characters here: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38093

SariDecember
These are the mesh files, the models of your character. You need the appropriate texture files, they're located in the texture folder and end with .dds

Also is the oily shine coming from the mesh or texture files?
