Hi guys,

uptil embarking on the quest for the crusaders´ Relics everthing´s fine but now everytime I enter a building in Leyawiin (and only in Leyawiin) there is a black gap where the door used to be. So entering buildings is ok but exiting the same leads to a black hole. There is a pic uploaded from inside the chapel. Help much appreciated

cheers

Update: Leyawiin is totally void of ppl, not a soul in the streets and it is only possible to enter the city via fast-travel.

Sometimes weird things happen. I remember once I lost half of all the buildings in Chorrol, but the doors. It fixed after I ran BOSS for the first time, and I recommend you doing the same if possible.

Another thing to keep in mind is (probably you already have it but I can't see it) make sure you have the DLC Patches as well.

Ignore me if you already are using BOSS. Hope that helps.

Thanks for your advice but no joy, I´m afraid

Already using BOSS and as you suggested applied the patches

Mybe you are loading a corrupted save? Try loading an earlier save from before the glitch happened, and try to make it happen again.

Maybe it was something buggy from the time you started with the quest (because you did not have the patches installed then) so if the previous suggestion is also no-joy, try loading a save from before strating with the quest, and check out. (yes, this is probably sounds like too much work with no guarantees... )

Oh well look at that!

Loading an old save actually did it :) Thx m8!

Do you know if it´s possible to "clean" the buggy save? I suppose the best thing is to start a new game with consistent mods and patches throughout the game...

Cleaning... I can't tell you for sure. Personally I have no idea on how to clean a buggy save. My advice is to stay away from them, don't even load them ever again.

There is some degree of cleaning you could do with Wrye Bash but I am not sure if it would fix your problem. You would have to ask someone else, sorry for that.
