Just cant get the game to load

Ok I have been working on getting this game up and running for a couple days now and have made it all the way to merging patches.(kinda sounds dirty)That is done and all the weird things with the fo3edit group is taken care of. All I have left it to play the game and it will not load. RAAA any ideas.? Here is a copy of all the funny things I have loaded. After my merged patch all mods are inactive so they dont affect the game. Right?

GodEmpire - Hello!

 

As far as I know, the general consensus is FOOK2 & FWE don't mix.

 

The official FWE site says here:

FOOK2 - Incompatible

 

I think you have to have Fook2 OR FWE rather than both.

 

As gor the game crashing at startup, that is almst always caused by a missing master.

 

In other words, you are missing a file that one of your mods needs to run.

 

If you run FOMM you can left click on your mods & a list of the masters for that mod will be displayed at the bottom of FOMM.

 

Those masters MUST be in your load order or Fallout 3 will CTD before getting to the menu.

 

Check all your plugins this way & ensure they have the required masters.

 

You've got several warnings in that load order you've listed of missing files.

 

By the way, you don't need the Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp. It's supposed to be replaced by the Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp that you have from FOIP.

I understand that normally fwe and fook do not work well together, but I have found a merger mod for the two of them. Cant for the life of me find where I got it from, but I do have it, and a patch for it to work with the new fook2 update. You said that I need some masters that I don't have, but I think that is just fomm being weird as they are there just not named the same. Now I removed all mods left myself with the bare essentials and used a merged patch for those. Still not loading. I am about done trying to get this game to work and ready to go back morrowind, as I never ever had a problem with it.

GodEmpire - Hello!

 

Well, I don't use FOOK2 but I have spotted a problem with your load order.

 

You're missing CALIBR.esm which is a required master for fook2 - main.esm & most of the other Fook files in your list. That alone will cause Fallout 3 to crash on startup.

 

A CALIBR.esm should have come with your Fook2 files or get it here:

Are you using FOOK2 1.2? There are hotfixes for FOOK2 1.2 in the files section under Updates:
