i suppose the most appropriate question is, are you using geck v1.4 and have you let steam do the 1.4 update?

also, are you saying it stops working when you simply double click it to start it up or when you try to load the esm?

did you have at least one save game before you installed it?

are you on an administrator profile?

and is your steam folder under program files or something separate?

if you are unsure, right click on the geck and "run as administrator"

did it work when you clicked run as administrator?

go to documents/my games/falloutNV folder and make sure there are two geck ini files in there

is your hardware capable of handiling the loading of the geck? it can usually take several minutes on older systems.

im kinda drawin blanks here cuz this is very unusual. ive heard of people havin problems when there steam folder is under program files(86) too

ive never had to do it, but everyone says its real easy. ive been told that you simply move your steam folder to where you want and then simply run the steam application and it will reset it.

I cant personally testify to that though. i would imagine moving it will create the need to re-install fomm and configator if you have it.
