'This lock is beyond my abilities' (OOO?)

Hi folks,

 

So I've been getting this rather cumbersome message when attempting to open the Elegant Chest in the upper floor of A Fighting Chance.

 

I'm relatively certain the only reason that chest is there is because of a mod... however, I have successfully swiped the key from the owner, and would enjoy much the ability to have the wondrous little prize inside, without having to go through the console.

 

I'm also relatively certain this is a problem in other parts of the game, where the most helpful answer I ever found was simply 'go through the console.' Though, this presents a problem when you're not sure what jeweled key opens what chest. The name is purposely made obvious, so the next soul that encounters this problem can easily google it and not get just 3 pages, two of which are in another language.

 

Here is a list of the mods I'm currently using (in loading order), with my most prominent assumption is that it's a conflict within OOO, or just because I'm level 1 and it would prefer me not to have the higher-level sword inside. I will include version numbers as I can, but I'm about 90% certain most everything is up to date;

Notice any mechanical conflicts? Do tell. I'll be more than happy to keep up with this with notes on my successes/failures for the communities sake. Notice any personal conflicts with the mods in use? Sorry, wrong topic.

AFAIK with OOO the chests are openable depending on your level of security skill. Whether you have the key or not makes no difference.

 

Very Hard locks need security over 75, Hard locks can be attempted at 50.

 

An irritation is also that some submerged locks require you to be in sneak mode to open then and yet you cannot sneak when swimming. The only way to open those chests is I believe with the console.
