frostbite907 Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 I am working in a new namespace. Hello everyone, I am currently working on a pretty big mod. Its about 407chunks. I just finished LOD generation a few days ago. Now my PROBLEM is that for some reason I am not getting anykind of LOD in games. The files are located in the Texture/Lod/"Worldspace and Mesh/Lod/"Worldspace". But for some reason the the game does not recognize that the files exist. In game it seems as though I never generated LOD. I have generated; mesh,textures,objects and trees. I then moved the files from the source directory to the textures/lod directory. I also renamed the DefuseGeneration to just Defuse and deleted the old Defuse folder. I have ran multiple prototypes also. The last few hours I set up a testworld with a few buildings and created LOD for it (textures,mesh,objects,trees). The same problem occurs how ever. The game does not recognize the files and acts as though there is no LOD generated. I am going into the Worldspace by coc into a shack and then entering a door if this helps. I also have no errors pop up during LOD generation. It takes me about 20 minutes to regenerate the LOD or about 30 minutes to create a new prototype that fails. I recently started looking at the files and it appears that the Normals and the Defuse are 100% transparent. This could be the root of the problem.
