I have NO idea why. especially because before I used the powerup I even backed up my mod. But when I use the backup it still freaking crashes. I swear if this doesn't work... I'd have lost 3 months of work and right next to completion... Here is the error report... Glenstorm Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 I know this is like asking "have-you-tried-turning-it-off-and-on-again", but have you tried opening your mod in GECK launched without powerup? Glenstorm Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Woah, I would tell you to try again after deleting the interiors, but then I guess that defeats the purpose of "fixing" it. I can try to fix them... can you tell me what the errors above mean?? can I do that through FNVEDIT or do you think I have better luck picking it up where I left off? I don't know what those errors mean (I expected a waayy shorter list) but it apparently does not allow CMNY (Caravan Money: Denarius, Legion money etc..) to be there in interiors, though this doesn't make sense. PowderdToastMan Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 i had issues with that program too i think it edited my geck ini files or my other ini files including the ones in my save games folder. re-installing the geck diddnt replace those files i ended up clearing out the documents/my games/falloutNV folder, aside from moving my save games, then starting a new save game and saving to place two new ini files in my folder, as well as then rei-installing geck with new ini files in falloutNV folder to get rid of it. dont know if that'll help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Korodic Posted August 10, 2011 Author Share Posted August 10, 2011 (edited) what I was doing before the crash: making a brand new quest to go with my quest line... that's it. I will attempt toastman's theory by loading it to a brand new geck on my laptop and saving it... hopefully correcting the issue. Otherwise. I lost almost day's work... dialogue is easy to copy, scripts are too since I can re-open them. EDIT: Saving my mod into a virgin GECK did not stop it from crashing.
