Korodic
Is there a way to save any of my old data? like extracting old dialogue so I don't have to retype... That'd be nice. Especially interiors...
Glenstorm
To use old backups from before, you simply need to remove the .bak extension from the file required. Since you know the time of the crash, choose one with a "Last Modified" field set at a time a while before the crash. You still haven't told me whether opening GECK without your mod in it crashes on startup. Because if it does, then you don't have to worry it's not your mod which has the issue, it's either FalloutNV (you can still play the game right?) or the GECK. If it doesn't, then its the mod with faulty bits.
Korodic
It's definitely the mod, but only when the game starts. I'm using the geck now, and altering a new file w/o the powerup. I narrowed it down by:loading an older version I got through my beta tester (at a loss of a day's work, but doesn't crash)by giving my beta tester my current version (crashed for him too) All of my backups are dead to me... as they proved useless. Again, I'm very lucky I can load my corrupted mod just to look at to just copy over my old work.
