Mods that change guard behavior?

Does anyone know of any mods that makes guard behavior much more realistic, except Reneer's Guard Overhaul (it's great but there are lots of features in there that I don't want, like the annoying sneak detection and guards running away on low HP). Basically the only feature I'm really annoyed at vanilla Oblivion right now is how EVERY guard in the game seem to know a crime the instant they happen even if they are undetected, or even if they are all the way across the map. For example, my character sneak killed a guard in Skingrad, and since no one detected it I was able to fast travel to Chorrol. The moment my character landed in Chorrol, the gate guard would attempt to arrest my character, with a bounty of 1000, obviously from the Anvil kill, which doesn't make sense. Is there like a construction set setting for this or something?

Much simpler than Reneer's but virtually without bugs, and still effective.

May as well prostitute out my own Crime handler.

 

It simply checks if a player has fled the scene of a crime, and if so, enters any guards who are trying to 'find' and arrest the player, into combat with them. The main benefit being that you can actually hide from a guards you are in combat with (especially with SM Combat Hide), whereas an NPC on a 'find' package WILL find you, no matter where, or how invisible, you go.

That bounty mod sounds interesting. I like the idea of decreasing bounty, as that's more realistic. Vanilla Oblivion is terrible with bounty, sometimes you get a bounty of like 5, and it will NEVER disappear unless you are with thieves guild. That's so ridiculous.

Umm that crime handler mod is sort of the opposite of what I want lol. I want guards to behave less aggressive, not chase you to the ends of the world lol.

Oh and I was wondering if "no psychic guards' will make it so that you don't receive any bounty for crimes that are not witnesses? Although guards won't attack you on sight if they didn't see you, you'll stil carry the bounty which means the moment you try to talk to them they'll try to arrest you.

AFAIK No psychic guards just modifies the setting iCrimeAlarmRecDistance (you can see current value from console with 'getgs iCrimeAlarmRecDistance'), as discussed in the description of "my" mod. No you can't avoid being caught if you talk to the guards, with a bounty over your head.... they'll discover your bad things! ;) Just let time pass...
