Skyrim Mod Ideas

More functions for companions like forage for ingredients on your own for a few hours and then catch up to me.

Companions that don't charge into battle when you are trying to stay hidden.

An auto-harvest mod that is spell driven (alternative to companion harvesting).

Ability to reveal ingredient attributes without a perk and without using data sheet from Internet. The current perks are way to high to be useful and it still takes an hour or so to go through all the ingredients with a list of their effects.

A better vampire mod that increases vampire skill and abilities based on how many times you have fed and how long you have been a vampire rather than the current system. New powers, harsher sunlight penalty, and more vampires overall in the game.

I've never encountered a werewolf out in Skyrim. Do they actually exist in the wild? Silver Hand seems to find lots. Why can't I?

I have no modding skill so I won't make any of these mods. I'd love to download them though.

Troll Face Trolls.

And I already gave up on modding when my Legion companion mod for NV fell apart

Haha, thats how I troll. I make people think I am trolling with my troll face, but then...I am not trolling.

TROLLCEPTION!

Anyhow, STEP is a great mod.

Thats not what I meant...

Someone should make a Knights of the temple mod. as it would be awesome. Should include masses of demons to slay with firey battlefields and such. And use that new Warzones mod so we can have massive wars with crusader's vs demons or whatever. instead of dragons we can have big gargoyle demon things with huge swords that rape everyone. And there should be a jesus character who is ridiculously OP. DO EET.

I would like to see an ambitious "Guild 2" type addon.... Essentially taking some of the gameplay of Guild 2. Specificallly... You can spend gold to build properites such as inn's, blacksmith, farms, etc. and there would be a "market" in each town to sell the goods you produce. The Romance/marriage part of Skyrim would be enhanced to linclude lineage and the ability to have children so you can pass your estate and businesses down to your children and consolidate power. Each of the town's would have a 'council' with people making up mayor, treasurer, etc. You would need to apply for titles and run for elections to get offer and gain power. Naturally a skyrim version should allow you to eventually become the Jarl of Whiterun or Winterhold. Ideally there would be AI competitors that would sabotage your businesses and compete with you to gain power and take positions in councils. A very ambtious mod indeed... it should also throw in quests and other goodies to challenge you as your empire grows.

Ever since I played the Guild 2 this is exactly what I've wanted. A more immersive first person RPG ala Skyrim, but one that offered all the same political/business/religious/family strateges and options that the Guild did.

I'v got a idea for a overhaul for Skyrim. the mod I'm working on in going to completely overhaul the game into a Napoleonic era.

I'm working on the faces right now to make them look more '1800s' if you know what I mean.

But I need help with the mod for example...

-landscape changes

-3d modeling

-voice acting?

etc

I need a team of goodish modding people!!!! (and 3d design people)

If anybody's interested here is my email > [email protected]

1) fully fledged out vampire lord wings: to actually look cool in the form, and to go along with the flying mods

2) frost giants in the world: make the Frost giants that appear in Forgotten Vale a regular enemy.

You guys do realise that going "I don't have any skills but someone can make it!" after throwing down a complex as hell mod (rule of thumb: if it has the word 'overhaul' in it, it's going to be a huge project) idea isn't a great start? Everyone started somewhere, grab the CK and Blender and get practicing :P Everyone's got ideas, but it takes a whole another level of dedication to actually bring that idea to fruition and make a working, fun mod out of it.

Actually getting your hands dirty with the tools is also a really great way to learn the capabilities and possibilities of the game engine and what can be reasonably done with it, and it gives great perspective on how much effort even seemingly small things actually take.
