Scorpidius Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Hi! There are a few mods around that change 1st person view (p.v.) to 3rd p.v. like in Gears of War. I was wondering if is it possible to change 3rd p.v. instead of 1st p.v. ? I would really want such mod, because 1st p.v. is the best for long range attacks with bow or target spells, but for close combat this Gears of War style camera is awesome. I am pretty sure many other people who like such mods but have problems with long range combat would like that mod too.Such mod would be especially important for people who use Duke Patrick's Near Miss Magic And Arrows Alert The Target mod and need to be able to make clear shots and that is almost impossible with now existing camera mods.
fore Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 This question comes up almost every 2 weeks. ;) And no, (unforfortunately) its not possible to control the 3rd person camera in any any way. Neither script, nor animation. It's pure user interface.

But you didn't see your character move with the flying camera, did you !? :tongue: Flying camera is nothing else but a convinence to make screenshots. The mod basically toggles the system flying camera. The same you can do with the TFC console command. But while TFC is on, your character can't move any more. So it's unusable for game experience.
