nbagangsta
Hi there, I just started to create a basic shack in new vegas. I created the interior but, I can't find exterior walls. (I know I'm a noob =P)I can only choose 2 pre-made shack exteriors but I want to create one myself. If one of you guys could tell me where or how I can find shack exterior walls, I would greatly appreciate it.
davidlallen
Exteriors of buildings are not created from individual walls. You can create your own building in an external 3D graphics editor, but otherwise you are limited to reusing existing buildings. Also, you should be aware that if you add a building in the main worldspace, there is no way to make it visible from a distance. It will suddenly pop into view when the player gets close. This is because there is no practical way to rebuild the "level of detail" (LOD) map for the main worldspace. Many mods choose to add one small building or even a trapdoor to the main worldspace, and then put most of the mod inside interiors.

I was hoping you could just creat the exterior like the interior (dragging walls etc.)But thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it.
