mensch8maschine
Hi guys! I've been reading A LOT about modding in the last week and after my third Oblivion reinstall I think I am getting a handle of installing mods with Wrye Bash. What I still don't understand 100% is: 1) how good is BOSS, will it do everything right? 2) can I simply BASH PATCH all the files that are patchable? MShoap13
There may be one or two exceptions in BOSS, for example it puts EVE_Khajiit_Foot_Fix.esp after CCC.esp causing a problem where Khajiit eyes are invisible. I believe BASH tags may clear this up but I'm not 100% sure. And the vast majority of plugins that Wrye Bash claims can be merged in the Bashed Patch can. A lot of people do merge as many as possible to save load up times, possibly increase stability, and sometimes to get around the 255 plugin cap. mensch8maschine
Hi, and thanks for the quick reply! Does that mean that i can simply bash patch EVERYTHING? put a check in EVERY box? If its really that simple that would be quite a worry less!
Candex
Wrye Bash is a great utility. Make sure you know how to build a bashed patch. Here, a foolproof guide.
