Geck Not Functioning?

And before you suggest it, Yes, I've tried running this as an admin.

After ages of mishaps and issues getting the latest expansions, getting all associated programs properly updated and running, and updating countless mods, I've finally got the game back, up and functioning. I'm finally ready to update my mods that people have been requesting for weeks.

Only, suddenly GECK doesn't wanna cooperate, and I've no idea why. I reinstalled the latest version, which turned out to be the same one as before. But now when I try to load up the files to edit, they simply don't. I click a file, set it to Active File, hit OK, and.......nothing. Just reverts back to default nothingness. Usually if it works, GECK freezes up for a short while while it loads the chosen file, but that's simply not happening here. Its not opening or loading up any .esm or .esp I choose. And I've no idea why. The file system and directories haven't changed - all the mods and their backups are in the same location as before, as well as the GECK program. And yet, GECK has for whatever reason suddenly become completely non-functional. No obvious reason why.

I'm seeing other reports of GECK malfunctioning too. What the heck is going on? Those watching me probably think I've abandoned my mods (and I had for a while, honestly), but now I can't even make things right again! Anyone got a clue or experiencing similar issues?

You probably dont have the latest v 1.4 of geck, because the Bethesda site STILL points to the version that is about 5 months out of date :/

Try version 1.4 http://download.zenimax.com/fallout/nv/geck/GECK_NVE_v1.4.zip

Damn, I KNEW there had to be a new version out. Guess I can blame Bethesda for not being on the ball with their own modkit for this one. Haven't tried it yet, but surely this should fix things quick. Thanks again!

EDIT: Yep, files are loading like a charm. Time to get updatin'!
