playable antronoch

Although you're right chingun, you forgot to say why. Newbs need to be nurtured so they don't become n00bs.

Zgek, the reason it's not possible to play as an atronoch lies in the skeletons. The player can only be the skeleton of redguards, altmer, bosmer, nords, etc., and atronochs have a different skeleton. The reason this is so is hard coded into the game; the player's skeleton cannot be changed.

You could probably play as something that LOOKS like an Atronach, but isn't one. But you'll end up with normal human animations and probably look disfigured. Not really worth the tens of hours it would take to work.

Hey guys, a little more friendly would do... *points at the top answer*

To the atronach thing: It may not be possible to play one, but I've created a simmilar race, my fire elves. They don't really look like one of those atronachs, but it has some of its abillities:

- Atronach Flaming Touch (by default)

- Atronach Fire Ball (by default)

- Immunence to Fire (by default)

- Atronach Flame Effect (just if you like, you can choose between the flaming version and the default one)

In addition:

- 100% weakness to frost

- Water damage (If you jump into the water or walk around while it is raining you'll receive high damage, a way to avoid that might be stuff that give you immunence to frost or at least some resistence as the given damage is of "frost" type, as well as a spell that lets you walk over water.) For the version with the flame effect, the effect will wear off as long as you are in water or getting rained on, it will come back once you're dry.

If your interested you can find this mod here:

Guess that's all that we can do for you. And make sure you check the image gallery for the downloadlink of the burning armor set and weapons. ;)

as you've said, you cant make an playable atronach because of the skeloton, but what about something more humanoid, like a goblin or skeleton.

i tried to make a goblin head helmet before, but whenever my character wore it the goblin head was on sideways.
