Gustav RR, and possibly other launcher additions mod idea (help needed

Hello all. Playing NV today I realized how much I love big guns. A lot.

 

So I thought, why are there no good missile launchers? The vanilla missile launcher just leaves something to be desired. So I decided that I should make a mod incorporating recoilless rifles, which in my opinion, are the epitome of awesome. I mean it's halfway between a missile and a conventional round with devastating power and reliability. What's not to love?

 

So anyway this mod is going to be more difficult than I originally anticipated. I can model the launcher(s) and texture it(them) but I literally have no idea what to do with the finished model. This is why I NEED YOUR HELP!!!

If you know anything about adding new weapons to lists, balancing damage, animation (necessary since the vanilla launcher animations are awful), creating new ammo types (84mm rounds of various types, probably 3 different ones), and anything else helpful in implementing a completely new weapon into the game, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT, TUTORIAL, OR BIT OF WISDOM. Any help at all is appreciated. Hopefully I can get this dream together and give the people of New Vegas Nexus a piece of firepower both realistic in scale and unparalleled in its ability to leave your jaw hanging. Thanks.
