benhamini1992
Recently I have been embracing my inner alchemist and I ran into a snag in my potion-making process. I am attempting to make a poison that acts as a sort of "banishment" effect; paralyzing, silencing, and making the character invisible. However, when the invisibility characteristic (technically a positive effect) is thrown into the mix, the game thinks that I am trying to make a potion, and proceeds to minimize the other negative effects. (And yes, I know I can just construction set a poison with the desired effects, but I find it much more rewarding to make something the old fashioned way, as opposed to just cheating it into existance. Similar to earning everything in the first 30 or so levels of gameplay instead of just consoling stuff into your inventory.) Anyway, if there was a mod that put a toggle switch in the potion-making menu that forced the result to be either a potion or a poison, that would solve all of my problems. But, as I am no good at modding something entirely new, I need some assistance from the community on this one. If someone could take a swing at this, it would be greatly appreciated and I will love you forever (in a non-creepy sort of way). And if any fellow alchemists are interested, I am making the poison with Vampire Dust, Wormwood Leaves, Rot Scale, and Bone Marrow. Yielding a poison that Damages Health, Damages Magicka, does Frost Damage, Silences, Paralyzes, and makes the recipient Invisible. It's a helluva-good poison that is brought to its knees by a lack of a Potion/Poison switch. Thanks again to any and everyone who reads this/attempts to make the mod!
