psychomedic
I've been messing around with the geck for a while and have decided I want to edit some existing dialog from a quest. Right now I can edit the text pretty easily but the problem is that the NPC still audibly says the original line and I can't figure out how to remove it. Is there some simple way to remove the audio and just have subtitles?I'm attempting to remake the intro to the game so I'd rather not have to make an entirely new NPC since there's a bunch of scripting and other things that I would have to replicate if I just replaced Doc Mitchell. Also, if anyone knows how to force subtitles on with a script command that would be helpful also. What I'd like to do is switch them on when my non-voiced NPCs are talking and switch them back off when they're not. I read that there is a boolean showsubtitle command that is supposed to turn them on and off but it doesn't seem to work. I've checked around on the geck wiki and youtube but haven't found anything for editing existing quests, just adding new NPCs and things like that so if anyone has any ideas that would be great.Thanks. Glenstorm
Create a new voice type (maybe by copying off MaleAdult04 or something like that) and assign this voice to your modified NPCs.
psychomedic
Figured it would be something simple that I didn't think about. Worked perfectly, thanks.
