Problem installing level 50 mod

Hello!

 

I got a problem installing the level 50 mod on Windows 7. It says I should put the two files into this path:My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\override.

The first thing is I don't have a folder called override inside the packages folder. And if I create one and put the files inside nothing happens. I read you should get 25 tactic slots immediately but that's not the case so I conclude it wasn't successful. Any help would be great.

There's an error in the instructions.

The correct path is: "\[user's documents]\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override".

 

I've PM'd the author about this so he can fix the information in the Description. :thumbsup:

Thanks for that but I tried it out and I still didn't get any more tactic slots so I guess that wasn't the clue, hm?

if i remember correctly, anything that increases your tactics slots has to wait for you to 'level up' or 'partial level up' on an active save. Try using runscript addxp 1000 a few times untill you level up, finish the level up process and check your tactics again. they should be there. I think the game engine can only add tactics slots as part of the script that finishes the level up.

 

that's why, if you add the skills 'combat tactics' via the console, you don't actually get any more tactic slots.

 

if this doesn't work, i'm all out of ideas.
