clungkie
So here is the scoop: My friend and I are retarded as it gets. Sure OBMM has a readme and I think there's another Oblivion add-on we need, but hey I haven't got the time to learn about these things on my own. My friend, well he's just as lazy and busy with other things as I am. What we need: Someone who knows almost everything about the MANY, MANY mods (I'm not saying, tell us the best), tell us which mods through the options that we want to modify will meet our needs. ie; I want enhanced graphics, should I use 'Natural Environments'? Or is there a better one out, also, will it clash with using a different and more expansive leveling system type mod? People with years of experience who continue to play are the kind of people we want to talk to. Also (kinda important): Teach us how to use OBMM and the other Oblivion add on to add the mods or what have you. We can do this over chat, skype, something - I don't care - as long as its clear and the job gets done. What you get out of it: $10 sent to your Paypal or Moneybookers or I'll buy you something to the equivalent of that, like a game on Steam for example. The time you spend teaching us how to do this shouldn't take longer than a half hour, I'm guessing. And then discussing the mods will take a bit longer but, if you know you are worth the time and money, hit us up! Why: Again, I am lazy and stupid. My friend is just as lazy and stupid. I know there is a kid out there, or adult d: who has helped dozens of people through this for free and my friend and I truly miss playing Oblivion. So the money to me is worth it to help motivate our lazy asses to play the game the way we want to play it.
Candex
Sounds nice (i'm not your person) but be warned: every system and game setup works in a different, unique way. There is nothing close to a standard someone could explain to you in 30 minutes. You probably want to learn Wrye Bash instead of OBMM. Good Luck! @Maigrets: Your answer couldn't be more accurate. Agree100%. Edited August 14, 2011 by Candex
Maigrets
The first thing that puts me off and I suspect many others, is when someone says they are too lazy to do something. Time constraints and other real life issues are a different thing to being too lazy, which suggests you want people to do everything for you. Your post is quite literate and well written so you're obviously not stupid. You need to realize having someone do this for you is not going to be as short a process as you may think so the time factor is also going to be longer than you anticipate. You are still going to have to spend quite some time working things out for yourself like most other people do, or research what you need even if someone is willing to do this. Not me though, I'm afraid. I'm more than happy to help people who try to help themselves, but you started out on the wrong foot here even if your intentions were not quite as you outlined them. Also take note of Candex post about different setups and also your operating system, among many other things. if you have problems with OBMM though, Wyre Bash is going to be a lot harder. Offering money is not a solution to your problems either, but you may get someone willing to do it that way. There are tutorial videos on Youtube you might get some help from. People with years of experience who continue to play are the kind of people we want to talk to. That's what readme's are for. Go through the mod categories on the main site and read up on them and especially note any requirements they may have. There are Lists of recommended mods if you search for them but the only person who really knows what you want is you. However, a good place to start for OBMM is here:http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Oblivion_Mod_Manager_how-to_site Or here which also includes mod basics:http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Oblivion_Mods_FAQ I know someone is going to say my post sounds mean, but lazy doesn't cut it really.
