SheerShaw2
I was thinking, what if we made an online petition to give us new modding tools that allow us to make more complex mods such as weapon animations and various other things. Now, before you dismiss this idea, recently Capcom did pay attention to a petition about getting Resident Evil on the PSP. Now Bethesda isn't Capcom, but it might be worth a shot. dyfed99
SheerShaw2, there's already a tutorial by J3X to make animated weapons using NifSkope :http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=39414
Sypron
I think he means the possibility of new weapon TYPES with new animations. Even if you get a couple of signatures together (you've got mine, I assure you) bethesda might acknowledge it, but won't do anything about it. They've moved on. The only reason they'll do any more TES:IV work is if someone discovered a huge bug and they need to patch.

Yeah sometimes I to think "What if we could just get them to.....", in fact very few companies listen to the people who buy what they are selling. AGEOD is a great example of doing it right. They even offer patch's for older games in a series that incorporate latter advances in a particular game engine. Now the folks at the big "B" would and could profit from listening to there customers. Just think what could happen if they took the improvements in ES 4 and applied them to a new version of ES 3. a slight change in plot and some new twists and come out with Morrowind 2. They are thinking that no money can be made by this method and believe that new ground (ES4--5--6 etc) is the best way to go. Perhaps thios is true but other companies do the "more than one version" and make money so I think there is money to be made here. Maybe I should conduct a poll "Would you buy a second version of Morrowind with improvedgraphics and new twists and using some of the new things found in ES 4"..HUM it might be interesting at that. I would sign your petition even though I only use a MOD if there is something that can be done better and not just because I can change something .
