yodaman123 Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 I run into a problem. Every time I load a save game, Fallout crashes to the desktop. It seems to have started just as I started playing the Mothership Zeta quests. But if I load an older save game, and then load one of the seemingly "corrupted" newer saves, it doesn't crash. For starts do you have fose, fallout mod manager, fo3 edit, archive invalidated? run a check with the fo3 edit tool (on fallout nexus site)see if it tells you if there are any problems. in zeta i experienced a crash that would happen i was in the junk room? the room with conveyor belts that have piles of prewar stuff. yodaman123 Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 Yeah, got FOSE, use FOMM, don't use Fo3Edit, use Archive Invalidation. I have quite a few mods, the biggest ones are 20th Century Weapons, EVE, Project Beauty. No FOOK, or FWE or any overhaul mods such as that. I believe it was a problem with my levelling up. I was using a mod that extended the level capacity, but I also had broken steel, which extends the capacity as well. So once I got past level 20, all my saves were corrupted somehow I think. Not sure why. I got tired of having to scroll down to my first save, and then load my newer saves, so Iuninstalled and reinstalled Fallout and I'm starting from scratch, so oh well.
