101Phase Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 The idea is simple, really. Convert each perk into a believable book title and scatter them throughout the Mojave. You still can't have more perks than you'd otherwise get from normal gameplay but instead of getting free perks every other level, you have to find them. The reason why I'd like to see a mod like this is so that I can explain why the Courier suddenly becomes a maths expert (Maths Wrath) or for no obvious reason know all the locations across the wastes (Explorer) for example. To give you an idea of what I mean, let's look at the above perks. Maths Wrath could be translated into a book called "Principles and Applications of Mathematics for Beginners" whilst the Explorer perk could simply be a well charted 'Map of the Mojave Region'. I understand that not all the perks can be easily translated like this but it'll be interesting for us to try. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
