braidedsin
I went in and deleted every bit of dialogue and I think all quests as well as most weapons and ammo, leaving a barebones fun fest when starting a new game. (only a few select weapons remain and no typical clothing so most fights are bare knuckle and it's fun to watch the npc grab a big stick and start attacking you) but I've got two problems: I used a custom start modder's resource as my active file when I deleted everything but I'm pretty sure it needs some of the stuff I killed in order to work so upon starting a new game the screen shows 1 hp, 1 ap and doesn't load until I COC somewhere. Is there a way I can find what that file needs in order to work? If I just load up the original w/o the other esp I still can't find everything that's needed that the other would've deleted.... Anyway that's the least of it as COC functions... I've tried changing the Player Faction so that everyone is hostile towards him but it doesn't work. I set everyone to -100 afterwards and GECK refuses to save... How do I make it so that all currently existing factions attack the player on sight? This isn't a serious mod but at the moment serves as a neat sort of plate that I can sit everything else on. Without all of the extra (albeit well done) clutter and weapons it really becomes a hardcore survival game. Like I said you walk into a place and since no one there has a gun a fight turns into a desperate struggle where the NPC grabs the closest thing to a weapon it can find. The few who have guns are no doubt always winners and so it takes a real want to survive instead of simply grabbing some random gun that was left for a hundred years or so and corner-popping until the enemy is dead. Instead you find yourself really taking the time needed to plan out as much as possible. Essentially I'm using this aspect as well some quasi-impossible feat to make another game from the same game. If ever it gets released it will be %100 incompatible with any mod as the other mods tend to undelete everything... Any help with those two issues would be greatly appreciated :) Edited August 16, 2011 by braidedsin
