cancari Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 (edited) Hi guys,I've just reinstalled fo3 and added a few mods, but once i've checked in fo3edit it found quite a few errors pretty much all related to fwe.The load order looks ok, but i honestly don't know if all of the mods are compatible (probably not) and if these errors are gonna crash the game engine.Any suggestion will be appreciated. You need a bashed patch or a merged patch using either garybash aka wrye flash or fo3edit respectively. Also the EVE-FWE patch is outdated so if you're going to use that expect errors. Furtermore these patches aren't perfect and as such expect more errors. Until you can make your own patch manually with fo3edit you can never know that everything will work perfectly when it comes to overhauls like this. But a bashed patch/merged patch will at least get your game running. Hope this helps :thumbsup: edit also Use boss to sort out your load order. cancari Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 Tnx Arcane20!While i was waiting for an answer i've managed to download & install wrye flash and python.I didn't create a merged before because it wasn't a point, with all the errors.You were saying that some of the patches were outdated, but i've downloaded the latest ones for each mod and patch.I know there's always problems with the overhauls (i still remember Oblivion very well!!!), but as they sell it on the files descriptions all these mods (FWE, PB, WMK, EVE, MMM) are made to work with each others and should have no problem with the latest FOIP.What i don't understand is that FO3edit finds me tons of problems, but BOSS only finds about 20 Bash suggestions and no conflicts...Which one should i follow?BTW I tested the game and is working pretty well, but i wanted to try to fix the problems first, rather than get a crush after a couple of hours of gameplay... But they essentially do the same thing.You don't understand. Boss has nothing to do with merged patches. Boss sorts your load order and has nothing to do with conflicts. The latest patches for EVE-FWE are outdated. You'll need to use an older version of EVE too get less conflicts or make your own and get absolutely no conflics.
