Mirroring mesh without altering the UV map

i got this Holster mod from pattipat...

 

and i'm trying to put it into the right thigh also, so it look like double holster, and of course i need to mirror the mesh not just a simple rotate, but i dont know why, the texture on the right holster one become very odd looking, some part are viewing texture and some part are just transparant..is there anyone know how to fix this...

In object mode, shift-d to duplicate

Object->mirror->x local

You should see it flip

Rig it to the other side by whatever method you like best.

You will probably have to flip normals

 

done that, i guess the flip normal is the problem because i dont how, do i need to flip the texture for the right one..
