Blacckkfire
I recently downloaded a multitude of graphics mods at once. I was not afraid of anything to go wrong because I did slowly add all these mods before to make sure they where all compatible with each-other and they did not mess up the game. This problem is not about the mods themselves, but how the files are effecting the game. I went into shivering isles, and for the first few hours, everything is all good and well, until I encountered a few light mesh problems that made some of the light meshes one big solid semi-transparent shape. I did not want to go into the construction set to remove these individually, so I decided to just delete all the game files (not BSAs) to remove all the graphics mods, because I am already in my gaming mode and i just want to play. But something odd happens when i do this. Instead of the system noticing that the files are not there and using the BSAs instead, It just flat out does not use one bsa files and in the game I am left with an un-textured menu, and a black screen for gameplay. Is there any way to fix this? I think an important note here would be that when I install the game, the bsa files are not automatically unpacked, i have to go in OBMMs BSA browser and extract all of them individually. The mods I downloaded, if it is any help:Quarls texture Pack.Really Textured Normal Maps.Natural Environments.OBGE. Better fires and flamesUnofficial Oblivion PatchUnofficial Shivering Isles Patch. Now that I look at it, I am pretty sure that the quarls light mesh conflicted with its normal map from Really Textured Normal Maps. It may be the case, but it still does not solve this problem I am having with the files. Edited August 17, 2011 by Blacckkfire
