Alternative Main Quest Mod Idea

Hey everybody!

Yesterday I was listening to a music track (Sabaton - Hail to the King) and I got an idea. The track is about that the old king, who brought peace dies, and a tyrant ruler is the next king, and people rise up agnaist him.

So here is my idea:

Nothing happens that happened in vanilla Oblivion. You're next to the cell where the secret passage is, so you never meet with the Emperor, and cannot help Martin. He can still defeat Mehrunes Dagon without your help, but both Kvatch and Bruma gets plundered to the ground.

Your story starts 5 years after the battle of the Imperial City. One person from the Elder Council rules the Empire, but he's a harsh and merciless ruler. All the provinces has cut them away from Cyrodil, and are ruled by separate rulers. Also some of the other cities has separated themself, creating city states.

You can start your journey on three ways:

1: You help the new king to punish the city states and all the people who rise up agnaist him, creating "peace" in the Empire.

2: You help the rebellion to take over the Imperial City, and execute the new king.

3: You try to be neutral, but some blades, who remained loyal to the Septim line asks for your help, to find the closest relative of the Septim line (for example Pelagius Septim IV's secret daughter's, daughter) and complete his/her legal inheritation.

 

At the moment my laptop isn't working, but when it'll work again, I finish some projects I'm working on (most of them are almost finished) and then I'll start working on this mod.

 

Also I welcome all ideas anything that you think that could extend the idea.

Also I have a question:

Should I make it avaible to follow the vanilla quest line, and just copy whole Tamriel into a new worldspace, or edit the vanilla Tamriel. (Which would make pretty much compatibility issues, but would lower the size of the file.)
