AAKryptixx
Well, had a problem recently where oblivion was just completely screwing up. It wouldn't start. I had a friend of mine try to fix it over TeamViewer for the last 35 minutes, and after trying BOSS, it gave us a message that 'There was a problem sending the command to the program', even if we ran it through Wrye Bash. We can't change the load order through Wrye Bash manually, either. Has anyone had this problem before/know how to fix it? My friend thinks that this is because I applied a NoDVD to the game and the checksums don't add up. The theory isn't concrete but it's an educated guess given the preceedings to the last 35 minutes. +Kudos to who can help me fix this.

AlfredTetzlaff
Hi guys,Just to make sure, did you uncheck "LockTimes" in Wrye Bash? This could also be some kind of access problem, did you install to the default path in ProgramFiles? You could also try to run Wrye "as Administrator", to do that you have to set this in the properties of python.exe.Hope this helps a little bitGood luckAlfred
bben46
Did you make the extremely common error of installing the game into the default location? If you have Vista or Win7 the Windows UAC tries to block any changes to programs installed there. Even disabling UAC may not be a total solution as Windows updates sometimes turn it back on without bothering to tell you. Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the WIKI section of the Nexushttp://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Oblivion_reinstall_procedure It allows you to preserve any saves and mods, or remove them completely - your choice.
