Zinnia
I'm sure there are other posts on this, but I was wondering if anyone would mind linking me to some info on load order? I'm not currently having any MAJOR problems and everything runs, basically, but I want to make sure it's not turning into a big mess or going to give me problems later. I follow instructions in individual mods, but I want to educate myself better on what goes where, overall.
Balakirev
Better Oblivion Sorting Software (BOSS) is probably the best sorting tool around. It's not infallible, but its contents have been gathered by plenty of users, and what info it gives out is accurate. As for other advice: I always put companions towards the bottom (load last) portion of my order. I understand that it prevents problems with their scripting. And remember to put global effects towards the top (load early) portion of your list. You want them to affect everything afterwards.
bben46
OBMM allows manual changes, while Boss is a total reordering program. Run Boss first, then use the OBMM to make changes to the order of individual mods.
