ancient1
Hey all, I'm playing a Breton with the Birthsign of the Mage, and I've maxed out intelligence (100 base), at the moment I'm level 17 with a few mods that helped with the attibutes (+5 mod..) but I've only got 300 points into mana.. and I'm still seeing spells that require 600+ points in order to use them. I'm I missing something, or have I done something worng ? I know the Altmer gives a bonus of plus 100 as the Breton only offers a bonus of 50.. so does this mean I'm SOL ? Any help would be greatly appreciated ! (Also I don't have anything that is a negative to mana in case some of you were wondering)
Abramul
The cost of a spell decreases with experience in the corresponding skill. From UESP:* Cost for spells is dependent upon your skill in the school (as modified by Luck, see Magic Overview). The provided baseline values are the magicka cost when your skill level is 33. For other skill levels the magicka cost can be determined from: Cost * (1.4 - 0.012 * Skill)
