editing armor ratings with CS

i have always been fond of the chainmail armor, but never found a set until now that i set it apart from the regular stuff you get ingame, which is the black chainmail suit someone made in a mod. but its the same as the regular chainmail as far as stats, so i want to make it as tough and have as much health as the glass armor, but cant figure out how to edit it with the construction set, and all the wiki really talks about as far as i can tell is how to make "my first dungeon". can someone help me?

well go in CS open the mod set as active find the armor when you rename it, it will ask you if you want to rename or make a new copy so you should click make a new copy then go to a world space or interiour change the the stats or the name if you want and then drag and drop into the worldspace, save and then play.

Should work altho im havin problems adding mod items to house mods so you should try addin the armor to an vanilla location e.g. benarus manor or somethin

What you need to do is open up the CS, load the mod (make sure to mark it as active), and wait for it to load, which takes a while. Then, look on the right, and go to items -> armor (I think- I havent used the OB CS for a while). It should be somewhere in there- chances are it'll come under chainmail or the name of the mod/item/mod author. double-click on it's name in the list, and a dialog box should pop up in which you can change all its stats. I'm assuming it's a seperate item to the ordinary chainmail already, but if its not, change the object id to something else, click OK, and when it asks if you want to create a new object, say yes.

If you need any more help, just ask
