Dan3345 Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 (edited) So I have had this problem for a while now, posted about it a couple months ago, didn't get a response, got so annoying I just quit playing fallout 3.. Well I want to play again but this glitch is still happening. Basically all my companions are running around in attack mode to fight an enemy that isnt there. And I think the enemy they are trying to attack is me. They will run away from me, and them come back with their guns drawn and pointing them right at me while yelling "Over here!" or something to similar (you know what they say). Firing them, proved they were out to get me because after being fired Charon would walk off and then when I approached he would go back into attack mode, draw his weapon point it at me and yell "i got one!" They never actually fire on me though.. Here is my load order. My game has no problems other than this. Btw I don't know if it is relevant but this didn't become an issue until I got on the quest to go to vault 87 and find the GECK. EditSo I went back and reviewed my load order.. Found nothing, I thought it could be the followers sandbox mod but when turned off there was no change. Its very strange, I can't figure out why they are hostile to me but won't fire. Or why they would be hostile at all.. Also they do not appear as red targets on the compass. prandiningrat Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 This is related to the faction relation, this happened if you are in combat and someone that ally with you helping you.,but person who help you have an enemy which is related to your faction is netral..For example, if you are fighting mutties that in the area also there are other factions, enclave and rivet city..assuming you are ally with an enclave...all factions i think will fight mutties, after mutties killed,now you are not in combat, enclave still fighting with rivetcity faction (faction relation is enemy)....if you bring followers, your followers will help enclave...Also probably you did some crimes...I'm not familiar with your mods, so you could check your mods...you can try on console to check this, type 'REFID.getshouldattack REFID' also 'getfactionrelation' if you want to stop their AI try with 'player.scaonactor'...I personally have had this similar, when changing faction relations..but not on followers...
