Any time I try to install any of the oblivion patches (including the one with the knights of the nine DLC collection) i get the following warning. "Old file not found, however, a file of the same name was found. No update done since the contents do not match." Does anyone know why I'm getting this, or anything I can do to solve the problem? MarkInMKUK Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 You need the correct patch for the version you have installed. For JUST Oblivion, you want the UK or US version patch (pick the correct one). For Shivering Isles, you want ONLY the SI patch, NOT the Oblivion one. No CD patches will change the file so it cannot be patched. Steam will be auto-patched. D2D and Impulse - check their sites for patches.
