RevApoc
Other than setting all of the XP rewards to 0, is there any simpler way to disable leveling in the GECK from the start of the game? And to answer an intial response of "why would you want to do that?", I just want to set skill values and other different character stats at the start, basically dropping the RPG rewards system of the game, and have it be more of a survival game. Roycesraphim
OOH! I know this! Open up geck and find the quests with ...CG! Character generation. CG1, CG2, CG3, and CG4. Look around in quest stages and you can find the script commands for disabling leveling. You can find them around quest stage 0 or 1, really early in the quest. Glenstorm
I don't know how to disable it altogether, but you could slow it down to the point that it would take you roughly a year of non-stop playing to get to level 2. Open up the console and type setgs ixpbumpbase 1000 <-- normal game is 150. You can set this even higher. That's pretty much it.
rickerhk
I think Roycesraphim was refering to the SetInChargen function http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/SetInChargen It would be interesting to see how far you could get with it.

Ineresting, I'll definitely have to look into that. I was more looking for doing away with the experience system completely, though. Thanks for the ideas! Most of the quest rewards are written into the quest, so if you wanted to stop them from giving XP, you'd have to change these quests. Now removing them from killing creatures and npcs.....I have no clue.
