Two characters on one save.

Hey I am wondering if it is possible, by mod or some other way, to have two characters on one save at the same time. What I mean is maybe not the same save but on the same game. So two characters could exist at the same time but only one is being played. This way one character could go to the others house and take items that the other character may have placed there. Does this make since?

 

The reason I want to do this is my character is an Assasin Rogue type and I have a few powerful items such as some heavy armor and blunt weapons. I would like to make use of it but my character is not qualified to get the best out of these items. But maybe if I could have another character like a warrior that would be awesome!

What you're asking is whether it's possible to transfer items from one savegame to another, am I correct?

 

I don't think Oblivion's save format is understood sufficiently to copy items from one character to another. If anyone knows, it would probably be Wrye...not sure what the best way to contact him is.

Go download that mod and use the spawn codes to get the item you require. books are in the first edition when you enabled the mod.

 

other then that i dont think there is any transfer system mod out there.

To answer you're question directly: no. Oblivion prohibits multiple characters in the one save file, as all the save file ultimatelly consists of is the 1 character and what that character has done in/too the world.
