Ghoulz
I wanted to change some high level creatures from a mod so they level with the player. Im confused about the health and other stats. Do they multiply by each level, so if it had 500 health it gets 500 health each level? Or should I make a leveled list? What's the calc max/min for? That when you'll encounter them while your in that level range? Edited August 21, 2011 by Ghoulz
David Brasher
If the "PC Level Offset" box is checked and "Offset" is zero, then the creature gets that many health points per level of your character. So if the "Health Mult" is 10 and the "Offset" is 0 and you are level 10, the monster will have 100 health. If the "PC Level Offset" box is NOT checked, then the creature has as many health points as the number in the "Health" box. So if the number was 10, then the creature would only have 10 health no matter what your level. The "Calc Min" number means the creature will never be below that level. So if the number is 7, the creature will never be lower than level 7 even if you are level 1. The "Calc Max" number means the creature will never be higher than that level. So if the number is 7, the creature will never be higher than level 7 even if you are level 45. In some cases it is good to build a leveled list, but you may be able to get the effect you want just by tweaking these numbers and settings. Ghoulz
It work the same way for damage? I see a flesh atronaut that's leveled and had a damage calc of 10 so it would do 100 damage at level 10? Seems kinda outrageous.
bencebence
If I'm right only the offset does this, which only changes the health, so the damage will be the same all the time. But if you set level offset to 1000, then at level 40 you'll fight with a monster of 40k hp :P
Ghoulz
Lol, my werewolves only do 5 damage then:P I guess grummites have such low damage because they use weapons, however that calculates in the end. I would like to alter the SI creatures cause they're so pathetically frail compared to the stuff added by Frans(wolves are 5x tougher than grummites...), but I know nothing about that.
