DanaWilloughby
Hello, I have been working on a new mod and I am currently at the final steps of the process for the mod. I have chosen to use fxglowingonesburst effect as my weapons on hit ability, but i want to change the green color on the effect to a white color. I have Nifskope installed and have successfully used it to load and export my weapon models with no problem. The major problem comes when i try to alter the fxglowingonesburst effect in Nifskope. When i try to save the information after I change the four palette colors from green to white, It gives me this error,(link points to wrong block type). It then proceeds to highlight, in a darker blue color, these two lines: Left Side of Nifskope 115 NiParticleSystem Txt pFiresPARKS [26] Right Side of Nifskope below model window Data Ref<NiGeometryData> (Arrow symbol point up in blue) 120 (FxGlowingOnesBurst) In conclusion, I am new to Nifskope, FOMM, but have dabbled in GECK a bit. I really want this MOD to succeed so I can move on to bigger and better MOD creations. If anyone can help me understand what I am doing wrong, so I can not only fix the problem but can troubleshoot it later on my own, I would greatly appreciate thew assistance. I am sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I am new here and if their is a better place to ask this question just point me in the right direction if you would. stevie70
Just checking in to see if anyone can help me with my issue. Thanks in Advancei'm not that much of a nifskope crack, but i don't see how just changing the colors alone should cause those problems. you sure that's all you've done to the model before it started causing problems? you've tried to just change them back and see what happens? and there's an option in nifskope for auto-sanitize on save, have you tried with that off? DanaWilloughby
Just wanted to stop in and thank Stevie 70 for his help, you rock! I turned off Auto Sanitize and it worked immediately. I was able to change the color palette and all is good and working in the game. Thanks Again Dana WilloughbyLevel Designer/Environmental Artist www.gottamakegames.com
