RickyOswaldIOW
Greetings, I've been using tessource.com for a while now but since it's moved over to tesnexus.com some of the files have been downloading as [filename].7zI've never seen this format before, any ideas? ninja_lord666
Do you have Windows? Of course you do. Windows can't open .7z file formats. You'll need a third party software to extract the files. The most common is WinRAR.
TheTerminator2004
But Winrar is just a 30-day trial. Get Izarc, it's free and opens just about every file type known to man (and a few which aren't).
RickyOswaldIOW
I have WinRar, I've tried changing the extension to .zip and .rar and simply tried opening the file with WinRar with the .7z extension.

TheTerminator2004
Well, the one I tried refused to work at all after 30 days.... Even so, IZarc is still a lot better- its more reliable, and it can open a lot more file types. And if Winrar won't open it, the best thing to do is to try a different archiver, so you know if the problem's with the file or the program. Finally, if that doesn't work, redownload the file and try again- it might have got corrupted somehow.
