Which makes the best traditional 'Assassin'?

Of course there are no classes anymore but these three races seem 'stealthy' races and seem to have decent bonuses for 'assassin' skills:

Acrobatics

Alchemy

Blade

Light Armor

Marksman

Security

Sneak

Argonian Skills

+10 Athletics and Security

+5 Alchemy, Blade, Hand to Hand, Illusion, and Mysticism

Bosmer Skills

+10 Alchemy, Marksman, and Sneak

+5 Acrobatics, Alteration, and Light Armor

Khajiit Skills

+10 Acrobatics and Hand to Hand

+5 Athletics, Blade, Light Armor, Security, and Sneak

Acrobatis and Hand to Hand are out so it would seem the Bosmer has the most relevant skills? What race do people think would make the best assassin in Skyrim?

The million dollar question is going to be if they will keep similar values. They might drastically change what each race gets.

Some bonuses will have to go, such as hand to hand and acrobatics so some skill bonuses might be changed...but the others will still be there I imagine.

That's up to them sadly. I'm sure they won't completely change it due to the fanbase. They have the creative control though, they can take any liberties they want in terms of the characters.

We can still play an 'assassin' class...just play like an old assassin, minus acrobatics...

I'm talking purely about the character stats. I don't think they've said more then each character will have different traits and some kind of special ability.

They've gone to great length to say you can do anything. Sure some races will be better at doing certain things, but I have this feeling they'll try to make it more equal. So people can play what they like as apposed to what is best.

I still think racial distinctions are important. I mean, I like the idea that a bosmer or khajiit is a better thief/assassin than a Nord or an Orc...and vice versa with a warrior...

Without a doubt. Not everyone will think that way. Even I'll give myself handicaps, using characters in ways they aren't intended for, or ones that will have difficulty learning the skills I force apon them lol

I don't necessarily think Alchemy would fall under the stealth category, I would think it's more of a magic skill,

that said, I've always favored using a dark elf as an assassin.

It's been stated that Alchemy is the crafting skill for stealth - think of it as crafting poisons.

((from the first post in Skyrim information:

* There are 18 skills.

* Warrior-type Skills: Smithing, Heavy Armor, Block, Two-handed, One-Handed and Archery.

* Mage-type Skills: Enchanting, Destruction, Alteration, Conjuration, Restoration and Illusion.

* Thief-type Skills: Alchemy, Light Armor, Speech, Sneak, Lockpicking and Pickpocketing.
