Alistor419
Whenever I try to deactivate a mod in FOMM for Fallout 3, I get this message: A problem occurred during uninstall:Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The mod was not installed. Not quite sure what this means, or how to fix it. Edited August 24, 2011 by Alistor419
frumpster
was the mod installed with fomm?... did you use the package manager?, if so, try going back to PM and deactivating the mod from there, if that doesn"t work you"ll need to manually remove the offending esp and rewrite over the accompanying meshes and textures

Somehow my mods ended up in the recycle bin, and weren't there to be deactivated. i restored them and it was fine.
