Ok by no means do I have anything bad to say about anything Beth has put out I have loved all there titles they each hold a special place in my little digital heart but I was looking at the new screens found here http://www.bethblog.com/index.php/2011/08/24/the-races-and-faces-of-skyrim/comment-page-1/#comment-205713 but I was look g at the elves I know that these are. Elder scroll elfs and they look amazing but when I think of elf I thinks of dungeon and dragon elves very mystic elegant and sleek I love all the dark elf series like the spider queen and the drizzt series any one else hopes they at least add theoption to pretty up the elfs don't get me wrong I love the elf looks and they fit elderscrolls perfect. That's all

These elves look like raw, rugged elves that would f*** up a pussy looking elf and spit on their corpse. That being said, I'm pretty sure once you get your hands on the character creator you will be able to smooth them out and make them look elegant and mystic like you described!!! :)

I like the direction they are taking with their elves. It is something more unique, morrowind-esque and genuinely "Elder Scrolls" rather than another D&D rip off.

@Op, your posts are a little hard to make out. You should try seperating each idea you have into a seperate sentence. :)

Hey there,

I don't think you should be worried about that. These are not going to be unchangeable 3D heads like in Morrowind - they will be customizable, and there is always a way to make your char to your taste. Example, a lot of people say Oblivon's wood elves are hard to make beautiful, while I always make especially wood elves pretty. Aesthetic mods help a lot (skin textures, eyes, hair) and I am sure there will be plenty for Skyrim.

They also mentioned the character creation is much more complex than Oblivion's (obviously) and the heads on the pics are just presets. So no worries - if you're looking for a game to tweak to your taste, this is it :)

And elves for the win. All of them.

I absolutely agree here. They remind me of Morrowind elven look a lot, which is very exciting in my opinion. *Sigh* can't wait.

Yeah sorry about my post I'm on my iPhone little difficult to type. But yeah I won't change any thing I do like the rugged look I was just curious I plan on making a d&d mod with my version of the underdark that's all. Again I love what Beth has done they all look outstanding even better is the fact that they are presets that just means we get so many options to customize with woot gj Beth. Anyways I play in 1st person at all times so idc what my dragonborn will look like in all reallity haha

Well, that's something I love in TES games. Third AND first view option. Awesome. I loved to switch, depending on what I do.

And yay for mods!

yeh when i saw the machinima (?) dark elf female, and it looked absolutely hideous, i was a bit worried. but now ive seen the presets i think what theyve done is awesome. they look really alien yet human at the same time, which is IMO what they should be.

im still going to make a good looking elf though.
