westhotsauce Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 As the title suggests, I am new to modding and am having difficulty installing mods. I've read through the installation instructions many times but some of the mods are just not modding anything in-game. Here's what I've done so far: I downloaded the .7z file and put the .esm / .esp in the data folder. I have put the meshes into the meshes and the textures into the textures. I loaded up new vegas and clicked "data files" I checked the mods that I would like to have and pressed play. When I load in, nothing has been changed. Help would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks. Gribbleshnibit8 Posted August 25, 2011 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Well, what mods are you using? Also, you might try using FoMM instead. You can find it on Nexus. I know that load order depends on the file date, so if you're using older mods, and the most recent patch (or recently installed), then the game file dates might be newer than the mods.
