Streamline's Streampurge vs PCB?

I was wondering if there is something, if anything, that Streamline's streampurge feature does or is supposed to do better than the console command "pcb." When I see my game start to stutter a little bit after I know I've been playing for quite a while, I force a streampurge and the game fixes the stuttering for a moment, but if I move to a new area, the game usually crashes. I experimented with the pcb command in the same scenario and never really ran into this problem. I really don't know at this point if streamline is really worth using at all, seeing how I already disabled its streamsmooth and streamsight features as I noticed even worse performance than before, and now I am thinking about disabling the streampurge option as well. I still don't have 100% proof that this feature is responsible for the crashes, but from the looks of it, it seems to have a high probability.

Yes I have that mod downloaded already (which is why I disabled the streamsmooth feature) and already set the heap algorithm to 1. I appreciate you feedback, although I don't see how it's relevant with the streampurge or pcb functions. (just allows for larger heap if I'm correct)

Please Read in the mods Readme (Section 7. How This Works)
