plasma890
I can't seem to get any "perk every level" mod to function correctly. When I play the game with it installed, I just get the normal 1 perk per 2 levels. This is irritating because I have used this mod before and it worked well. To be specific, I have tried using the following mods: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34707 (<--the one in the load order below) and http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39088 My current mod load order is: [X] FalloutNV.esm[X] DeadMoney.esm[X] HonestHearts.esm[X] OldWorldBlues.esm[X] ELECTRO-CITY - Highways and Byways.esm[X] ELECTRO-CITY - CompletedWorkorders.esm[X] MoMod.esm[X] NSkies URWLified.esm[X] More Perks.esm[X] More Perks for Companions.esm[X] More Perks for Dead Money.esm[X] More Perks for Honest Hearts.esm[X] More Perks for Old World Blues.esm[X] More Traits.esm[X] Selective Fire.esm[X] Project Nevada - Core.esm[X] Project Nevada - Equipment.esm[X] Compiled Patch.esp[X] Compiled Patch - DeadMoney.esp[X] Compiled Patch - HonestHearts.esp[X] Compiled Patch - OldWorldBlues.esp[X] OFT_Base.esp[X] OFT_Base_Interiors.esp[X] The Mod Configuration Menu.esp[X] StripMarkers21603.esp[X] Perk_per_level.esp[X] PerkEveryLevel.esp[X] Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp[X] Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp[X] Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp[X] Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp[X] Selective Fire - Project Nevada.esp[X] CONELRAD 640-1240.esp[X] Improved Sound FX.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - Gunshot Distance Tweak.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - Weapon Sharing Fix.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - DM.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - HH.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - HH Sharing Fix.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - OWB Sharing Fix.esp[X] SecretStash80.esp[X] More Perks Update.esp[X] More Perks for Companions Update.esp[X] More Perks for Dead Money Update.esp[X] More Perks for Honest Hearts Update.esp[X] More Perks for Old World Blues Update.esp[X] More Traits Update.esp[X] FalloutNVCheatTerminal.esp[X] FlashlightNVSE.esp[X] UnlimitedCompanions.esp[X] Sorter - Combined.esp[X] Sorter - Dead Money.esp[X] noautoaim.esp[X] WeaponModsExpanded.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - WMX - Weapon Sharing Fix.esp[X] Project Nevada - WMX.esp[X] WMX-DeadMoney.esp[X] WMX-HonestHearts.esp[X] WMX-OldWorldBlues.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - WMX - HH Sharing Fix.esp[X] Improved Sound FX - WMX - OWB Sharing Fix.esp[X] WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp[X] EVE FNV.esp[X] OFT_HonestHearts.esp[X] OFT_HonestHearts_Interiors.esp[X] ELECTRO-CITY - Inventory Sorters Compatibility Patch - ElectroCityCATEYEvalue.esp[X] Project Nevada - EVE.esp[X] ELECTRO-CITY - Inventory Sorters Compatibility Patch - RegularCATEYEvalue.esp[X] NSkies URWLifiedOWB.esp[X] NSkies URWLifiedHH.esp[X] NSkies URWLifiedDM.esp[X] ELECTRO-CITY - Darker Nights.esp I also tried using the Geck to personally edit the perks per level variable, but that failed to work as well. GuerillaWarlord
Well I use most of the mods you use and the game runs fine with it but I do have a couple of suggestions:1. You have both Perk_per_level.esp and PerkEveryLevel.esp running so get rid of one.2. move PerkEveryLevel right to the bottom of the load order so it overrides any other mods that could be changing the variable. I'm not totally sure if this will work but I hope I helped. Edited August 26, 2011 by GuerillaWarlord
schlangster
Project Nevada - Rebalance has an option for this which overrides your other Perk per level mods.Press ESC after you have loaded your game, select mod configuration > PN Rebalance > Character. In the Leveling section, there's one option for levels per perk. Set that to 1, that should do the trick.

I'm beginning to think that there somehow may be a mod confliction somewhere, because I have installed a couple more mods since my last playthrough. Also, just for the record, I have the Steam version and its up-to-date with patches.
