I don't care either way. Modern pop culture kinda ruined them both for me. Growing up Vampire and Werewolves were horrifying monstrosities not some fan girls sparkly boy toy. Vampires and Werewolves are suppose to be powerful mindless killers prowling the wilderness and ancient ruins, not some over sexualized seductress or ladies man. I know Bethesda doesn't portray them like that and I respect them for that but the damage is already kinda done.

Edit: I will prob try both on another character just to see what it is like but unless someone mods the crap out of them to turn them into the demonic Nosferatus of Medieval European legend I don't plan on playing one in any serious sense.

lol I think you wont have to worry about them being too "Twilighty" but vampires aren't mindless so there will probably be a couple not so vicious ones. However i will count on Bethesda to make all werewolves as vicious as possible.

As for me like you i'll test them both on seperate charecters since i always make my first guy a Dunmer Good Guy Battlemage.

Voted vampire but I wish to try werewolf, there is going to be a mod to be both for sure assuming you can´t become both in vanilla game.

Well I guess not completely mindless but vampires should be all disformed and crave blood like a meth junkie not be Francisco El Suave mingling at parties and stealing women's hearts.

Are werewolves even confirmed yet? I only heard about vampires.

More or less there have been some blurry questionable screenshots. If something wasn't in the game though they have out right said,"No, it didn't make it in the game". They seem to be dodging the question which means it is in they just want it to be a surprise. If I was a gambling man I would say yeah they are in the game.

Huh? Which ones?

Only confirmation for Werewolves I know of is Pete Hines' twitter: The question was "Are there vampires/werewolves in Skyrim?" and he responded "Yes, the RipTen preview confirmed vampires. Now stop asking :P."

Which is shaky at best: You can only call it a "confirmation" because he didn't go back and correct himself with a tweet like "Oh, sorry to mislead you, but the 'yes' was to vampires, not werewolves."

Werewolf for me, i been longing to play them for a long time in tes games...i cant immagine any other cursed being fitting better in skyrim then them.

If they would be really done good...hunting trough those woods i saw at screenshots would be an epic moment itself..with well done animations and interesting abilities...god that would be awesome.

Sorry im dreaming about it again.
