Kaelzor2
Ok I wasnt too sure where to put this at as I'm still new to the site. Can someone please link me to or tell me how to download the most recent update for New Vegas so I can update my game and start installing my mods? That was my issue on Fo3 before I figured out I had to update it which it fully is already, but i just need help updating this game now. I just got FNV almost 2 weeks ago. Already beat it and decided time to try modding it and see how much fun I can have with this one.
ita
Fallout NV should be updated automatically as soon as you log into Steam. Yes, Steam is the only way to get the updates. Neither Bethesda or Obsidian have released any update files that you can download separately
Azrael120782
Connect to steam. Easy as that. GFWL sucks and ruined FO3.
Kaelzor2
Ok thank you :) I thought thats what I had to do. So I can just go ahead and start loading my mods as long as i have the proper files since NV already auto-updates through Steam ? Also dumb question I'm sure, but I havent learned the Abreviations yet, but what's GFWL ? Edited August 27, 2011 by Kaelzor2
ita
GFWL stands for Games For Windows - Live, an online content delivery and digital rights management platform run by Microsoft.
Azrael120782
Yes.Most store bought copies of Fallout 3 had GFWL on it. Stupidly when GFWL totally broke everything.... ANywho steam is your updater. Does it all magically for you :)
