First off, a comic I really love. If you like zombies, then I think you'll enjoy this. Keep in mind, this comic contains blood and...well, anything else that goes with a zombie, really.

The second one I really like is Questionable Content. It has a little bit of everything, from Indie music to AnthroPCs! The art quality rises as you go along. The latest pages are quite lovely.

You like random gaming, geeks, nerds and HK-47? Take a read. Again, like all webcomics, artwork improves as the artist goes~

Order Of The Stick is one of my favorites. It's a DnD themed comic that's absolutely hilarious if you're familiar with the content. plus there's 800+ strips to go through if you've never seen them before.

And of course there's Cyanide & Happiness too.

Poked at a few of them over the years, but kinda forgot names or just stopped reading. Here's my list though.

VG cats - Most know this one. Usually videogame/anime themes, ect. Not serialized.

Bug - Simplistic style, not serialized but is fun to read through every now and then.

El Goonish Shive - Stumbled upon this a couple years ago, been reading since. Has a variety of themes, but mostly serialized storyline with gags between drama and action. It is however fur friendly, fantasy tg/tf based, general geekdom, so closed minds might want to give it a pass. Don't be discouraged by the art style and themes early on... It REALLY does get better as things go on.

GPF - A long running comic... Kinda stopped reading after about year 4... and by gods, it's still running after 13 years. General geekdom and humor, although most of the early stuff (2000 crisis) is a bit dated. Art style is of reasonably high quality and is consistent throughout, so no sudden guessing of who's who.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal.

From Wikipedia: SMBC is "at heart a geek comic, but it nevertheless addresses a broad range of topics, such as love, relationships, economics, politics, religion, science, and philosophy."
