ChunliXiang
Hello,I've been looking for the past week for information on how to get a base mesh for humans in NV to work in-game. When searching I find all kinds of guides for items/weapons and armors, but none for the base (naked) body. When I try to apply the concepts from the guides for armors, I end up being invisible in game with just my hands, pipboy and head showing. This is the guide I ended up following, except instead of armor pieces I just used the mesh for the body.http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Fallout._Part_2I also followed the sword guide that is references for making sure the textures were d one right. I've already got the mesh created, was my first time doing 3D modeling (more like playing with the default one), and I find it rather frustrating that texturing and modeling was easier than making it work in-game. So any information on how to do this, or links to guides made specifically for this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Dan3345
Which mod specifically are you trying to use? Please post which one. If the file has just a textures and meshes folder then you would conceivably just copy and paste them into your data folder.

I'm trying to find any guides out there that explain how to make a mesh work in fallout. I have the modified mesh + modified texture, followed instructions up to nifskope, and I'm invisible in-game when I try it.I'm guessing the main problem is the only info I was able to find was for armors, and not the actual body mesh (while wearing no items), so maybe something is different. I'm unable to find any guides out there that explain the procedure and I'm hoping someone here knows of one.
Dan3345
I don't know if this will work but you could try downloading another popular body mod and setting up your file structure to mirror that one. Or you could place your body mesh and textures in data folder and then setup all the races to use them through file paths. Second option is more likely to work I imagine. Doesn't work, what the instructions I've followed so far say to do is take the original female mesh and to open it in nifskope and add my mesh to replace it, along with a bunch of other info you need to add in, but this isn't working.
